As sponsors we got to meet a lot of new people as well as see a bunch of old friends. Thank you to everyone who scooped "No Labels" and the lines of people who waited patiently to get a dope piece of art painted on their body by an ill artist we brought out, Def Dom.

An article from The New York Times about hip-hop artists who sell their music in front of record stores and throughout the streets of New York.  Like Jay-Z says, "Can't Knock the Hustle"...click here to read the article.

Loj's NEW Website

As you might have noticed our 2 web addresses (ThinkNEG.com and ThinkLoj.com) have been going to the same website for the past year. As a startup company we've had to operate with a slim budget. but in the past year we've grown our buzz as well as our budget...so with that said we're proud to announce a completely NEW and SEPARATE website for Loj. From this point moving forward when you go to ThinkLoj.com you will be experiencing a whole different website. At the same time we've made some updates to ThinkNEG.com. So make sure to bookmark both of our websites and check them DAILY. We developed it to be simple and user-friendly, so the home page will be the latest happenings with Loj, his music, and everything else going on in his world. Now go to ThinkLoj.com and let us know what you think!!!

N-E-G x The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival

As our company continues to grow we look to support and celebrate other parts of the culture. We're happy to announce that we are one of the sponsors of this year's Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. In only its 4th year the BHHF has been growing exponentially and giving us New Yorkers a dope taste of the culture. Past performers have included Lupe Fiasco, Little Brother, and Ghostface among others. This year the headlining act is none other than...KRS-One. (Quick side note: Loj was recently in the studio with KRS and Young Guru recording a song for KRS's "Stop The Violence" album...check ThinkLoj.com for the video!!). So we encourage everyone to mark their calendars for Saturday July 12th. Not only will you see a host of dope performers, but you'll see N-E-G representing heavy in the sponsors booth. Tickets are free, but everyone is encouraged to drop whatever they can to help support this event so they can continue to provide us with dope elements of the culture. Go to www.brooklynbodega.com/tickets.htm for details.

N-E-G Block Parties

We've got 2 block parties in their planning stages right now. Details will be announced very shortly, but until then just mark your calendars with the following 2 dates, Saturday July 26th and Sunday September 7th.  There'll be plenty of good music, good food and good people to make these events worth coming to. Details to come soon!

N-E-G Presents...A Brooklyn/Queens Hip-Hop & Art Event

Thank you to everyone who came out for another successful show last week.  Kev Sakoda crushed the building with his dope mix of BK/QU tunes...big shout out to our sponsors The Brooklyn Circus and Secret Society for holding us and the performers down with ill gear, thank you to our performers who continued the N-E-G Presents standard of dope hip-hop, and special thanks to Valentina for being our resident photographer for the evening. In the next week or 2 we'll be announcing details about our July block party (yes you heard it right!) as well as the unveiling of Loj's new website!
